Sending Large Files Across the Internet
Another tip from Mark Zamora. We’ve all had files that were too large to send across the wire on the net. You try to e-mail the file and either your e-mail or the recipient’s e-mail chokes on the size of the file and kicks it out. With www.YouSendIt.com you can send files up to 1 gigabyte in size.
And yes, it’s free. Thanks Mark.
YouSendit is indeed an excellent service. They've been in business for a while and have lot's of great plugins. I'm sure graphic designers have found this tool to be quite useful when sending large files.
I'd like to also share another great resource for sending, receiving and storing files. And, the good thing is, everything is drag and drop. There's not browse and attach. It's web based, secure and you can drag and drop files from you desktop or other PC location to the dropzone to send as a link, attachment, or direct to other dropzone users. It's like having your own private, secure network. You can send files to anyone, anywhere from anywhere.
