Mac Laptop goes Kaput
Well, I have enjoyed various parts of the Mac laptop and was slowly learning some of the niftier aspects of the operating system when I started having problems with the keyboard. The bottom row of the keyboard just stops working every now and then. There’s no rhyme or reason, but it starts back up only to cut out again. It’s hard to get work done or write a post when the keys “zxcvbnm,.” don’t work. Apple says it’s a bad keyboard and will repair it. We’ll see how that works.
Hmmm….. that’s 2 laptops in the shop at the same time. I’m not even going to comment on that.
what bad luck! keep us updated on your experience with the mac when you get it back. i am thinking of making the switch.
I had a problem with my keyboard on my iBook. The problem being that the letters were wearing off some of the keys. I called Apple and two days later I had a new keyboard waiting at my front door, free of charge. What everyone needs to remember is this. Even though Apple and their great computer the Mac are almost perfect. They are only ALMOST perfect. You will have some problems. The key is customer service and response. My experience with Apple has been nothing but GREAT!!!!! You will not be sorry with your Mac. And I am sure you will switch to all Macs sooner or later.
