Back in Action
Well, I am loaded down with laptops now. Apple has repaired and returned the MacBook Pro. I am in the process of getting that blogworthy, by installing a news aggregator and rebuilding my feeds. I’m playing around with NetNewsWire with MarsEdit and Ecto and will decide shortly which one I prefer.
On the PC side, my ultralight laptop has been returned fixed up and refurbished. They were even kind enough to replace the hard drive. Hmmm… I didn’t have any problems with the hard drive. But according to tech support, the hard drive was dead and they gave me a brand new one free. Which of course means that anything I had on the computer is now gone. Of course, the only thing I had that was not on my desktop and server was my blogging software. The main thing is that the computer is back. I’ll reinstall the software and start repopulating my news aggregator and be up to speed shortly.
And for those who are curious, I purposely kept my blogging software on my laptop and off my main computer and off the net, so that I would have less opportunity to blog during work hours. I’m thinking of checking out a web based news aggregator so I don’t have to worry about computer outages as much.
